Trump Pretends He's Still President During Bizarre Ceremony At Trump Tower

Published on Fri, Apr 26th 2024 News & Politics Rectangular HD

In between his time in court for the criminal charges against, Donald Trump apparently likes to play make believe. On Tuesday evening, he presented a former Japanese Prime Minister with a "key to the White House" in a truly disturbing and bizarre ceremony. Trump has not personally stepped foot in The White House since January of 2021, but he's still pretending that he has some kind of authority or power, which is absolutely embarrassing for the former president. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

In between his appearances in court for the, you know, 34 felony counts against him in Manhattan right now. Donald Trump apparently likes to take a little time out of his day to still play, make believe. And on Tuesday evening of this week, after of course he left his criminal trial, he went back to Trump Tower and he got to play, make believe, and pretend that he was still president of the United States. Here's what happened. He held a, a little fake, and, and fake does not even begin to describe how horrible this was, but it was a totally fake ceremony where he presented a former Japanese prime minister by the name of a, a tarot osso, and my apologies if I'm pronouncing that name wrong, but anyway, former Prime Minister Osso is at Trump Tower and Donald Trump in a big photo up pulls out a box with a key in it, and he presents it to Oso and says, this is a key to the White House.

You are welcome anytime. And he opens up big golden key to the White House that Donald Trump has not set foot in since January of the year, 2021. So he hasn't been there in more than three years, but he's giving this guy who also is, is no longer an office holder and had big controversies during his time as Prime Minister for praising Nazis and, you know, uh, quoting Hitler. But that's the kind of thing Trump likes, right? So he gives him a key to a house he doesn't even live in because Donald Trump is so frigging delusional that he is still pretending he is president. He is pretending he has any kind of power in this country at all, which he doesn't.

This, I mean, this is nothing short of insane. Like this is something a crazy person does. This is something that a person who actually needs real genuine psychiatric help would do. Can you imagine? Right? Let's say I go out there a a and I, you know, see somebody that I like or admire, and I'm like, here, I just, random dude, private citizen, just like Donald Trump. I am giving you a key to the White House. You would be like, oh, okay, well, farran's insane. Now that's, that's new, right? And Trump does it. And again, this happened Tuesday evening. I didn't learn about this till late yesterday. Like why, why was this not bigger news that Donald Trump is out there playing, make believe, still pretending he's the president of the United States? How is this okay? Like, how do people just normalize and rationalize and write off and ignore the crazy things this man does all the time? Is it because he does so many crazy things that it's just exhausting to keep up? Maybe? I mean, trust

Me, I have to go through his crazy crap every single day, and it is exhausting. I get tired of it, I am tired of it, but this kinda seems like a big alarm bells flashing type thing, right? You can't give somebody the key to a house you don't live in, even if it's just ceremonial, you don't have that authority. But here we are. This is our reality, and apparently nobody seems to care.
